Film's Synopsis & Biography of Director

Synopsis of the film:

This is the story of loss, an irreparable loss. 

A couple madly in love with each other, passionate and equally comfortable in each other’s silences spend a beautiful day together far from the maddening crowd in the midst of the beautiful Bombay sea. In the night he drops her back to VT station (the grand structure representing Mumbai where lakhs of people descend everyday) 

That fateful day is 26/11 when mindless violence took over humanity and hundreds died.

She also dies that day. The film attempts to capture the boy’s loss and also the loss of others who died.

Biography of the director:
Born and brought up in Kolkata, a metropolitan city of India, Mukesh Kabir Kapoor did his post graduate diploma in Direction and Screenplay writing(3 years) from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute,India (S.R.F.T.I). His documentary film ‘Comma’ on paralytic film-maker Siddhartha Dutta (son of Bimal Dutta) was screened at ‘The Other Film Festival’ in Australia. His short film ‘Human Story’ based on the Abu Gharib prison was screened at the ‘JNU’ film fest, Delhi. He taught at Whistling Woods International film school for 3 years.Currently he heads a casting company called’ Faces’ and is working on feature length scripts.
